Oh now I see why that is :). That is a great idea, I think I will give Blender a try for modeling. I can see why it would be hard to learn to model in Houdini as well, the proceduralism is a whole new curve. Thank you for the reply <3
Yeah sure it's possible! Guys like Simon Holmedal are full Houdini and they come from an AE/C4D background! + H is easy to combine with other softwares : C4D or even Blender if you want to save money! The only thing that H is really lacking is efficient modeling tool for destructive modeling :) So it's nice to have another software in combination to model quickly your stuff!
I haven't started any of the tutorials yet, but I will very soon! If it's no trouble, do you think it's possible to use Houdini as a main 3d software for Motion Design, I do see a lot of artists combining Houdini and C4D. I was thinking I wanted to go down the FX/Motion Design path(hopefully). Thank you for always sharing your knowledge :).
