nice video! I didn't knew at all about cloud compare! I've always process my lidar point cloud in reality capture. I have good result with reality capture but it's true that with massive point cloud it can be hard to handle. A feature that I love in reality caputure is the fact that you can mix lidar and photoscan. We build a specific horta house for the gray man movie so we did a lidar to capture the geometry and lots a photos to also do a photoscan. We mix the lidar and the photoscan so we were able to have a nice geo with nice textures.
