This is not in the top 100 songs by Prince that I'd have you react to. The guy who suggested it clearly does not know Prince's work (his comments about Prince's "later work" make that obvious), and chose his first hit, which he recorded when he was just 21. It is a shame because you won't be doing 20 of his songs (in all likelihood), and there are MUCH more compelling songs to listen to, including Kiss.

This is a cool, savvy pick...This is "Baby Prince" before he really grew into his genre-hopping genius on his next album Dirty Mind. You guys should next check out the "Dirty Mind" single (Prince goes new wave!) , "Annie Christian," "Little Red Corvette" and "She's Always In My Hair" to get a sense how much blurring the lines he was doing. Prince was peerless in his era.
