I have a recipe on here for arroz con gandules. But I will be doing a rice and pink beans recipe soon.

I haven’t tried yet. I noticed most of the recipes don’t say to drain the meat, but I do it anyways ;)

There are some easy homemade sofrito recipes online. Really easy and delicious. Just takes more time. That's the only reason I use the jar. There is also a Goya bran of frozen sofrito. Be sure to check your freezer section.
What’s a good substitute for sofrito because I can’t find it at my local Walmart store
