As usual, meals with little to no veggies can be served with a side salad or a side of your favorite roasted veggies. Some garlic butter Brussels sprouts in the air fryer would be amazing with this ;)

I just use a dairy free butter and a little flour to make a rue and then add some beef broth. My kids are also allergic to dairy.
What would be a good substitute for the brown gravy mix? My daughter can't have dairy and the gravy mixes contain dairy. I would love to make this for dinner.

What could be subbed for the bouillon cube? I assumed it was for the gravy. And already had beef broth on hand. Now I’m reading the instructions. Hoping it won’t make a huge difference that I don’t have it?

I always list the weights and measurements for uncooked unless otherwise specified. So this is 8 oz uncooked :)
This is probably a dumb question but I'm an overthinker. The ingredients call for 8oz of instant mashed potatoes. Is that cooked or not?
