Just to clear up Presidents Day... We used to celebrate George Washington's birthday and Abraham Lincoln's birthday, but they were pretty close together, so they lumped them together. And those are what they call "bank holidays," because basically nobody gets them off except people who work at the bank. Because days off for regular workers are, like, communist or some crap...

I had veggie haggis and panfried chestnut mushroom wrapped in filo pastry, with clapshot and caramelised onion gravy for my vegan Christmas. Followed by a biscoff cheesecake 😁
