The bumper week of content continues as we bring you a playthrough of brand new trading card game Disney Lorcana! In this collectible card game players use the denizens of Disney's animated movie catalogue to quest for Lore, the game-winning resource, and battle other players to stop them gaining power. It's a bunch of fun and has some great art with surprising twists on the classic characters.

The simple rules and lack of violent or sexual cards also lend themselves to a younger potential audience. I wouldn't want my (theoretical) eight year-old playing MTG. (Given the cost, wouldn't want him playing it at any age, but after a point I'd let him. I started in 5th grade, and again briefly in college.)

I have a friend who gets very upset about loot boxes in video games. He owns A LOT of magic cards and is not fond of having the similarity pointed out.

Now granted it's an obscure show from 1979 to the early 80s but Sapphire and Steel was a British show starring Joanna Lumley and David McCallum. I find it very hard to believe a bunch of British actors have never heard of it...

Yeah, a more simple and slightly flawed MTG. In MTG it forces strategy and sacrifice by making players use blockers to save HP. Where as in Lorcana, players can ignore each other and race to 20 lore.
