I don’t know, I feel like Jon’s speed should’ve gone down when using the sickle. It wasn’t technically damage, it was a card condition

His character can still draw item cards. Just not pick up item cards that are on the floor (like when a character dies and drops them)

I love the sheer amount of detail Jon puts into everything his character does and then there's Dom with "I thought it was a number 1, but it was a runny number 2 and I forgot to pull my knickers down" :')

Love this game and the players but on page 3 of the rules it says “There are no discard piles. Any time you would discard a tile or card, instead bury that tile or card by placing it at the bottom of its deck or stack, face down.” for example the tick tock event card, no matter what Laurie picked the card stays in play. There was no removing it from the game.

I urge you guys not to draw the legacy deck cards from the bottom. If you do it from the top, the top of each card tells you when to flip it over and read it!

Yeah, Sully should’ve read that when he died. They missed one or two things, but overall the first two episodes were a blast for me. Dom’s character’s horrific hammer rampage in the first episode was perfect.

Joined the Patreon just for this series! Can't wait to see where their game goes! Just watched the Prologue and Chapter 1 and can tell this will be a very fun series to watch. One small thing I noticed in the prologue and now in Chapter 1 is you play with the legacy deck upside down, this could cause problems in the future as some cards are triggered by events happening in game and if you are basically ignoring it while playing the game you might miss triggered events (one example of this is in the prologue the introduction of the ghost rule should have happened as soon as Sully died as the first death was supposed to trigger it). I don't know how many episodes you film in advance but hopefully you watch for that in the future.

Never played this game myself so I might be wrong, but having the story deck in that order seems weird, surely it should be the other way round? So at the top it tells you when to take the next card? Like in the prologue when Sully should have taken it when he died.

Such a good episode! At a certain point I went to relisten to the berserker rules, because it did seem overpowered to use the sickle. But no, he found it from a pulled item card, entirely fair. To have the death sickle in the game for twelve more episodes is going to be WILD.
