Boo. I was hoping for an intro of "Welcome to board game club where the first rule of board game club is 'Addicted to the Shin-Dig'" I love this game. Had the app for YEARS and it really is addictive. Can't Stop? Come and tell me when it's time to. ;)

This feels like the perfect game for a House Rules episode. Like doing simultaneous rolls and if someone fails a roll, there is a stack of cards they have to draw from and perform what it says on the card before they can resume rolling. Then there's a separate stack of cards for if they "bank" the dice rolls that they draw from before they resume rolling.

Idea for the next time you play in person that won't work if you play it on Board Game Arena: treat it like The Price is Right (or whatever you call it out there), meaning after you've officially stopped roll one more time to see what you would have gotten

When Sackson died his wife wanted to donate his personal games collection (of over 20,000 games!) to the Smithsonian Museum but they turned her down and it was all sold off at auction :( There was an article about it in the New Yorker in 2003: https://www.newyorker.com/magazine/2003/01/20/sold-separately
