I'll get a status update today. I'm working to complete Rin's date. I expanded it to start a side story that will play out in Chapter Two.

Full vs Patch. I'm sure the final non-beta release of part 4 will have more content. The beta release only has 7 of the 10 events that are going to be part of the GA (non-beta) release.

quick question the update post now says (full) does that mean it is the complete update now or do you still plan to add stuff before you release the non beta version of the update

What did you use to unzip the archive? If you used, Archive Utility (which is the default), then it won't work. You need to use a different tool to unarchive it, as stated in the other comments. I suggest "Extractor", which can be found on the Mac App Store.

The two archive utilities I use on my Macbooks are "The Unarchiver" and "Extractor", both of them available on the App Store and both free.

I tried it out on my MacBook Pro. I downloaded the full version. I had to try multiple archive utilities to open it before I got a version that ran. Some archive utilities are failing to expand it correctly. The one that worked for me was: Archiver

I couldn't load the full version due to the Mega 5GB Limit but the patch is working nicely. * Downloaded the Patch * Unzipped it On the command line: * cd LongRoadHome-10_Part_4_patch * cp -r * path_to/LongRoadHome.app/Contents/Resources/autorun/ Starts without problems, loads saves. Haven't played yet beyond making sure that the p4 content actually is there. Feel free to put them in touch with me directly if this doesn't help

On my two Macbook Pro systems, I have found that extracting the zip file with the default Archive Utility results in a non working app, but if I extract the zip file with a different tool like The Unarchiver, that it works just fine.
