The 142 mile drive north into the barren Mojave desert resulted in one of Southern California’s most gruesome and bizarre cases of torture, greed, and two great escapes.

Thanks for the feedback. I am always trying new production techniques and experimenting with immersive sound to place the listener into a particular space and time when possible. Not all of them work well with the case at hand.

the heavy breathing in the background definitely wasn’t necessary in the background. i get the sense you are changing the podcast to be more immersive but for some stories, the story is enough! just some constructive criticism, i could be in the minority on this one but still wanted to say it
