He occasionally responds to texts and Facebook messages, but is otherwise unresponsive to concerned family and friends. After one of his sons inadvertently locks himself out of the family home six months after his father had left - the 23-year-old stumbled headlong into the grisly truth when he crawled through a bedroom window and into his father’s locked home office.
