🕑 Added 2021-11-27 05:46:34 +0000 UTCIn July of 2019, 18-year-old Bryer Schmegelsky and his best friend, 19-year-old Kam McLeod, left their home in Port Alberni, Vancouver Island - British Columbia on a whim to travel to Whitehorse, Yukon in search of a new job and a new life. At around the same time, 24-year-old Chynna Deese from North Carolina and her boyfriend, Australian native 23-year-old Lucas Fowler were heading out on a three week trip around Canada meant to end in Alaska. 64-year-old Leonard Dyck, a lecturer at the University of British Columbia, hit the open road on a solo trip to study grizzly bears in northern British Columbia. But soon enough, each of their worlds would collide and lead to a deadly manhunt in the wooded area in northern Manitoba.
