Royalty Mod: Peasant Life Update

Thanks for the love on the trailer, I'm super excited to finally release this months update; Peasant Life.

Peasant Lot Trait
Trading System
Tax Collector
Royals & Nobles reacting to peasants/being happy when away from them
All sims saluting or bowing to royals
Royals & Nobles reacting to being on a peasant lot
Sims can no longer easily introduce themselves to royalty, they have a chance of success
Peasants can scavenge for food
They can also go hunting (compatible with LBB's Olde Cookbook mod - linked below)
Hunting is seasonal, what animals are brought back and how many is based on what the season is (seasonal hunt list on tutorials page)
Hunting loot added to Noble rabbithole too
Sims are now illiterate
Many new careers including; Blacksmith, Farrier, Cobbler, Carpenter, Locomotion Smith, Watch Maker, Letter writer (for literate sim only), and beggar (for child-teen)
Pickpocketing skill and interactions available for teen-elder
Several new rabbitholes for peasants, including one that give's Lumpinou's Rambunctious Religion skill! (Linked below)
Your peasants shoes will now wear out over time! They will have to pay a visit to the cobbler rabbithole and pay a fee to have their shoes repaired, otherwise they will be walking around barefoot.
Peasants have a chance of receiving a happy moodlet when farming
Auto-Classes have been adjusted to test for whole net worth and not just property value
Babies born to a peasant parent and a royal peasant will receive the Illegitimate Royal trait
All class traits can now be added through the RM cheat pie menu

Illiteracy Conflicts
I've added a version of Illiteracy that won't conflict with any other school related mod, it's an optional separate download!
How to replace: Inside the 'Peasants' folder, delete '[LN] Illiteracy' and simply drag the new '[LN] Illiteracy [Anti-Conflict Version]' into the peasants folder.
DO NOT KEEP BOTH IN YOUR MODS FOLDER.
PLEASE DOWNLOAD FROM LATEST PUBLIC VERSION OF ROYALTY MOD.

for some reason my peasants keep getting the gentry trait despite having like no money and living on an empty lot ? even when i try removing it and adding peasant trait it switches back

I'm really sorry if this has already been asked, but can you have two different ruling monarchs from separate families or will that mess up the mod? I planned on having a European medieval themed family as well as a Japanese Emperor.

The hospital birth doesn't work if you join a royal/noble Sim there. Is there any possible way to fix it?

When will the next update to the royalty mod be out? For some reason, my Monarch Sim's children didn't get the Crown Royal trait when they were born; I had to have my Monarch Sim give it to them.

none of the options when I click on a sim is showing under the royalty mod interaction the plumbobs don't have the crowns around them as well what could be wrong?

You have to have an available coffee or tea maker...make sure you have that....if you have and that keeps happening and you have a very big house, you need get the lady in waiting near the room that the coffee or tea maker exists. This worked for me

You will see the servants appearing in the front of your house (as guests do) after that they will start going around the house doing chores.....

Hi! I love your mod, but my my lady in waiting doesn't get my sim the tea or the coffee she asked for. What do I need to fix to make this part work? :)

First time playing with this mod and I love it so very much! I did have one question though. I looked through the how to guide and didn't see anything. I've tried calling for a servant several times and nothing ever happens. Do I have to assign a servant first or could something else be causing this issue? Thank you!

Yep it is! Just open up the Royalty Mod folder in your mods folder and navigate to the Peasants folder and delete [LN] Illiteracy! :D

Also, I love this update. Would it would be possible to randomize the literacy skill for premade townies through a cheat in the future?

I think it might be possible through the assign traits cheat menu, but I don’t know if you’re looking for a way to do so in-game through gameplay rather than cheating or not. I’ll see if the cheat works though. It might just automatically apply it to all the sims in the household.

I don't think that would be possible. I may be wrong, but I believe class is based on household finances. If they all live together, they all have the same amount of money.

Great Update! Thank you! I wonder if it is possible to assign different classes (Peasant, middle class, gentry) to members of the same household...
