Magical Battler - Chapter 5

This post here explains how to export and import save files.
Please be careful when using this, since you can lose save files if you are not careful.
First of all I want to apologise for the radio silence.
I got a bit obsessed on making this the next post and then some work stuff got in the way and things got more delayed than I wanted to.
I thought it would be fun to show the hero and all the NPCs portraits together.
(some have yet to appear in the game).
You might find some familiar faces from other games.
Some help with the controls:
Controls:
The game can be played with:
Keyboard:
Use arrows to move and enter to interact.
Escape will open the menu and cancel.
Alternatively, Z can be used for interactions and X for opening the menu and cancelling.
Note:
If at some point using the Heal skill, the target selection is stuck in a character, it probably is because the mouse is highlighting that character. Moving the mouse cursor away from the characters should fix it.
Mouse:
Click where you want the character to go or what you want to interact with.
Use the other mouse button to open the menu and for cancelling.
Note: Menus are enhanced for keyboard, so clicking an option will highlight first. If the option is highlighted, clicking it will select it.
Gamepad:
The game should support a gamepad in Chrome browser at least.
The A button will interact and accept. The Y button will open the menu.
The B button will cancel.
For mobile:
Just touch where you want the character to go and what you want to interact with.
Important: Touch with TWO fingers to open the menu and cancel.
Notes: Touching a menu item will highlight it. If the item is already highlighted, touching it again will select it.
You might also want to set the phone in landscape mode and go to the games options and pick fullscreen.

Thanks. I like the idea of cameos/multiverse rather than trying to force things into the same universe. And this game has enough NPCs that it made sense to start making them based on other characters.

Really loved that it is *not* a shared universe, and the returning characters appear just as shout-outs to their original versions β or could be a case of multiverse, which is still great in my book.

Thanks. The different things you can do with the enemies are getting added as I keep making the game. I started to focus a bit more on the enemies being on top because of demand, but I do plan for the player to be able to choose both options on most if not all the enemies.

great game! question is there a way to get enemies to bottom more often? such a shame we can't get to see that cute dragon getting it haha, anyways! amazing game thanks for sharing it to us!
