It's funny. Even though they were trapped inside that earth prison almost the whole episode, it was still interesting enough to not even notice the time flying by lol. I love the moments like this where Shikamaru's big brain can really flex itself, though Neji was smart too since he figured out what Shikamaru was doing without Shikamaru revealing it. And of course... Naruto is still Naruto lol. And now we get to see a clash of titans!
