Yup! Although I did end up going the inverse route from everyone else—I made the "lie beneath" fiend the top, and the "lie above" fiend the bottom. It made sense the way I read it!

What a bunch of people have started doing recently is separating succubus/incubus by whether they are dominant or submissive, so you get male and female instances of both species.

Not to be pedantic, but I believe the technical term for a male succubus is "incubus"... Except if it is a deliberate decision to turn succubi into a gendered spicies. Great story nonetheless !
