Hello, my lovelies! I hope this morning finds you well and relaxing--my "weekend" doesn't start til tomorrow, so it must be nice. ;)
First, some updates, then some mildly spoilery commentary below.
I'll aim to get the Bonus Pairing poll up soon! Next week I should have the next chapter of Glowpebble Path finished, and the week after, I hope, either Gretel vs. Holstaur or a series continuation. We'll see! I've been writing really regularly lately, though.
Also, I'm making some big Patreon changes! The biggest one is that I'll be upping the prices this June. I'll make a proper post about that soon explaining the reasons for it and making sure everyone's aware. The biggest price change will be to Hapless Hamadryad, which is getting merged with Assisting Alraune. I'm also considering a new tier dedicated to a risque monthly PF2 game.

I'm not totally happy with this one.
Sex scenes are hard for me to write, sometimes, as an asexual girl without a lot of interest in PIV. Sometimes it feels more forced, less like something I want to write and more like something I ought to write so readers aren't disappointed. I've gotten cross comments before from readers who saw PIV as a default.
This was one of those times. I enjoyed most of the story, but the sex scene at the end is not my best work, and if I were putting this together in a serious novel, I'd either give it more attention or cut it outright.

I'm surprised it's so noticeable--I do still like writing sex, but I guess big drawn-out physical scenes don't catch my interest as much as the emotions involved. I really admire those writers who can think of new ways to phrase, "he dongled in her doohickey and it felt good".
