Hello, my lovelies! This is the start of a new series, and a new setting, that I'm really excited about. This series will feature three main characters; in this chapter, you meet the first!
This was entirely a passion project of mine. Next week, I'll try to get up a follow-up to the Beembos vs. Cloistermage story, and we'll see where we stand after that. I have the conclusion to the Lim Bad End underway, and I've finally started outlining the "Village Girls vs. Ghost" commission.
I've had a really good week for productivity, but I should let you all know: This month I'm doing NaNoWriMo, National Novel Writing Month, and I fell behind pretty badly two weeks ago. I'm doing a great job catching up, but it is possible I'll be a little sporadic in updates until December! As of now, though, I have high hopes for being totally caught up on projects by the end of the year. :)
Oh, also, I should address a tiny elephant in the room.
I've alluded to it a couple times, but I want to start writing with a new setting. The Cloistered Lands aren't going anywhere, but I can't have them be my Sole Brand anymore--I've been setting my stories there for nearly nine years and it's been causing me some bad burnout lately. I miss having a world to explore, and I've got a lot of ideas for the Glowpebble Path going forward.
I really hope you can join me on this journey! I'm really excited by the opportunity. This was one of the easiest stories I've written in a long while.
Oh, also, I'm updating on Saturdays instead of Fridays now. I'm working a Tues-Sat workweek, with Sundays and Mondays off. It makes sense if you're me.
Next Time: Orion and Sapnettle, an unwitting guardsman and a ditzy witch, follow their burglar quarry to the Mapleseed, where they are separated. Orion finds himself subjected to the considerable charms of multiple sweet, cooing bunnygirls. Can a mere man resist such buxom temptations?
