It would make it worse, since this is about Stacy herself. If she teaches Stacy the way Stacy taught her there will be hell to pay when her dignity and the reputation of her family is on the line. These last few pages with Stacy have reinforced what we already knew: Stacy is a ruthless woman capable of destroying anyone's life to achieve her goal, and she won't accept that she's made any mistakes.
