Now that I think about it, I don't think Saiya has smiled since the shower scene with Aika (I mean a smile that expresses happiness, not the one she does when she's actually horny, by the way). It's curious to compare the Saiya of the first 150 pages with the one of the last 150. Perhaps everything would have turned out alright if Saiya had talked to Aika after the party instead of listening to and accepting Tessa's “help” 😭 (the party on page 150 just in case).
