Building and painting a tile for an Ash Wastes / desert board.
In part one we are building the tile itself including some thoughts that went into building my Ash Wastes board that now consists of 13 tiles and growing :-)

Thanks! Im using them for two years now and so far didnt have any issues. I wanted to keep the light and easy to transport so I went for only Xps.

Great tutorial. Have you had any issues just using xps for the base/edges? Lots of other modular tiles designs sit on mdf or similar but this would definitely be simpler.
