Cawdor Gang - Part 10

managed to finish the first of the Cawdor Walkers.
I have to say I wasn't a fan of the models at first, but with a few tweaks and a different paint job I like them a lot.
Used all the steps from the OG Cawdor Pdf tutorials and am quite happy the scheme also works on these guys.
Hope you like him too, his friends will follow.

Yes, absolutely. I'm more and more using different tones for shadows to tweak temperatures and boost contrast. An other good example are his pants and the backpack, where I used a cold dark blue as a base coat, highlighting up with warm brown tones.

Do you use the Vallejo German Black Brown as a straight replacement for black (for basecoating, etc)? I've read that doing so makes your final results warmer and less desaturated.
