Because people are asking why I don't do full UNCUT reactions...

I honestly just don't feel comfortable. Making an edited movie reaction is already vulnerable because it is normally an activity that is done privately, or with friends and family. In a way, I am letting people see me at one of my most vulnerable moments, and I would get too in my head if I knew people where going to be watching me not actually be entertaining for 70% of the movie. I would genuinely feel more pressure and would probably become too nervous to even say anything! A lot of my confidence as commentator comes from the fact that I know it's going to edited, and anything can be fixed or added in post production. When I watch movies in real life with my family, I'm not actually talking a lot.... okay, that's not necessarily the truth. They do yell at me to stfu, but I think you know what I mean. There is a difference betweem recording yourself with the intention of making a transformative video, and watching something in the privacy of your own home, without any cameras!
I have an editor that edits all of my movie reaction videos. If people think I am annoying , talk too much, pause, and rewind the movie too much now... well I hate to break it to you, but while I am recording, I am CONSTANTLY pausing to give my editor direction, asking him to cut something, zoom in on something, etc. It would still require LOTS of editing. I am constantly rewinding things that I find funny, or something I missed, getting up to pee, get my dog to stop barking, waiting until sirens stop blaring outside from emergency vehicles, and I know many people would probably hate that! A full uncut reaction would probably be 3-4x the length of the actual movie, and is FULL of me giving direction. It doesn't happen every 5 seconds, but it happens often enough that it would ABSOLUTELY ruin your experience. I don't want that!
I understand that many people probably just assume that I sit down and just watch the video while talking occasionally. That is not the case at all. I do take the video making process very seriously, and try to add more because, at the end of the day, it's a commentary/review video. I ain't necessarily chilling LOL! So much more goes into these videos that people may not understand, so I wanted to give people a heads up before they become disappointed! Other reactors may do things differently and that's okay!
If I ever do a reaction where there are very few interuptions, I may consider doing an occasional uncut reaction. But until I have the luxury of being in a space that is quiet, or maybe I don't have brain that gets so easily distracted, then I am open to it. For now, that is simply not possible.
Thank you guys for understanding! I just want to make fun content! I understand if you want more, but I tried to be as transparent as possible. Regardless, enjoy whatever makes you happy!

That makes complete sense, Miranda. Very smart and wise. You always have great reactions.

I wouldn’t mind seeing your full reactions but I’m fine with your edited versions as well
