Airlock Bound Continues
🕑 Added 2021-12-18 09:26:54 +0000 UTCSorry this took so long but we have 4 new chapters out of Airlock Bound. Audience testing went really well though, so they should be good.
Princess Puffrel is being introduced in this section of the story. I actually did some significant changes with her character, more significant than I did with Gale. She should be distinctively more likeable now. Or at least, that was the goal and the response I got from the audience tester.
Also, the fight that happens in this section of the story is the one I plan to send of to potential artist to test if they're a good fit for the project. Its a very ambitious fight, so it should be a good stress test of their skills.

So, after actually getting around to reading Chapter 1. Dude, you REALLY should put a content warning at the beginning of it. I'm sure that it wasn't something that really occurred to you, particularly because it only occurred to me because of how familiar I am with Warcraft and how this relates to Sylvanas, but the process that you described of Gale's (and others of his kind) agency being taken away, literally being forced to do things in a manner that they are very literally incapable of stopping, is actually VERY similar to rape. This is not me trying to downplay rape, it's me trying to articulate just how horrifying your characters' experiences truly are.

Have you considered creating an epub file for each chapter?

I hate to repeat this, but you really should get a proofreader. Keep running into super simple mistakes throughout. Overall flow could also use some work. An experienced outside perspective will help you catch a lot of minor errors and rough spots and drastically improve overall perceived quality.
