Note that the teaser starts at page 10, so there's a lot that's happened before this moment in the story. I chose this passage because it's a good example of what the full chapter will look like.

I still have much work to do, about two more scenes need to be edited (most of them being written already), as I want the first chapter to be explosive and intriguing. Plus I'm being picky with the illustrations. Can't say if I'll manage to finish it before the end of the year. But once I get the ball rolling, I expect things to go a bit easier.
