Knitting Setups 101 (VIDEO TUTORIAL)
🕑 Added 2019-10-23 22:20:56 +0000 UTCHey peeps!
Decided to break up this series to few parts so its easier to follow. Still recordings are around 20 minutes cause there are a lot to cover. But if u want me go faster with the explanations i can do it ofc lol.
This one covers the basic technique via fields. The next ones will be recorded in the upcoming weeks.
Cheers and have a good time experimenting!

Hi, it definitely cant work on every setup as is. It totally depends on topology/ orientation and needs some creative thinking around it to cover the setup's weaknesses. If you ask me, https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCs3mKK6EI9Q23RITvAbzxaw this guy just made in his patreon a nice procedural setup for knitting. Idk if this one can also work for u though. cheers

Hi, I just signed up , all your tutorials are great. I was trying to use knitting on the "X" alphabet object but doesn't work. Any advise or are you going to do more about object knitting tutorials. Thank you

Hi, tutorial shows everythind in depth. Its oriented to people that have some basic knowledge of c4d though. U mean the shape of the thread how is this modelled? Its just a spline that i did by hand.
