A Lesson in Lessons - Analysis of Episode 5

So last we left off (in November, cuz I'm a fuckin troll who can't stick with stuff) we were talking about the consequences of our actions! Specifically the choice to go with Eli instead of trusting Eli who had Eli tied up in his closet. Rational thinking and all that.
Running away to a safehouse. Questions about demonic cum having suggestive effects on the mind. Sexy times with Eli while Eli is in your mind. Good times. And then "ooooo spooky voices in the head what're you gonna do...????"
And y'all said no. Fuck off.
OK. Fine.
So here we are. Episode 5. I didn't want to have a WHOLE other scene with you chilling at the safehouse and have to write up a whole deal about how we got to the plane. I had considered a scene at the airport, but figured it would be easier and flow better to roll the story into more interesting location and action by just tossing you all into the plane like a bag o potatoes... you have amnesia. Boom. I'll be honest, not my proudest writing moment, but sometimes you just have to keep the story going.
In the plane there is a couple lines in Italian that don't make it into the scene. A conversation in Italian between Eli and the "flight attendant." The flight attendant says "Qualcosa lenitivo per un volo accidentato." Which means "Something soothing for a bumpy flight." A hint that he's not quite what he seems. BUT, it was in Italian, and also I'd have to voice the attendant by giving him a fake voice, so I decided to cut it and work around it with just Eli speaking Italian to an invisible person.
Plane sex. Kinda hard to bounce on a cock or bend someone over and fuck them, and just saying "we're in first class" would feel like a copout. I wanted something kinda fun and spicy public. Hand stuff. Too easy. How about Eli gets under one of those plane blankets!!! They're usually kinda small (for someone like me anyways, being 6 foot 2 inches) but this is fantasy!! We can make our plane blankets however big we want in imagination land!!!
I think I've said it before, but I really enjoy doing oral audios. They're so much more fun than scenes with penetrative or just hand stuff. Mostly because oral requires the speech and breathing to be changed more than just pretending. Actively licking/sucking while talking is a whole ass process, and a fun one at that.
So here is one of the big plot splits that I had planned. Some people figured I'd weasel out whichever choice you all made. But I genuinely would have killed off whichever Eli you chose to shoot. This whole story would have gone SO differently. No Demon being silly/facetious. Or no Fullor/Eli plot? Crazy.
This episode was probably my least favorite/ the one I was least proud of from the full series, but it's still a solid part of a story I am very happy to have created.
Next time, we will be able to talk about one of the single greatest SFX scenes I've ever done. A plane crash. Until next time... thank you so much for the support and love y'all gave this series, and I look forward to creating more stories into the future! 🥰

It's not often I get a comment that I have to scroll to read the whole thing! Haha I'm so glad you enjoyed the series!!! And that you're having fun with the analyses. With the Lessons series, I really hadn't put too much thought into the long game with each choice, and was mostly flying by the seat of my pants after the choices were made. It was my first time doing a series I'd written myself, and my first time doing a CYOA. So it was an adventure making it that's for sure. I just loved that I could engage people who were there and supporting the creation of the story, and wanted to make something that you all weren't just consuming, but actively invested in. I always knew the series had to end at some point. I talked a bit in the latest analysis about how I got scared by the late episodes that people were losing interest, and that I was losing the plot, so I kinda crammed it to the finish after Lesson in Sacrifice. Originally I had planned to write a bit more out of it to really develop the historical plot with the Children of the Stars, but I wasn't sure anyone really cared too much beyond the immediate and figured I'd just be wasting everyone's time on this bizarre world I'd invented. I'm glad I've taken more time and put the effort in for Anomaly Acquisitions. It's turned out much better for it, but I'm still proud of the Lessons series anyway, even with its flaws. so i finished lessons (it was so fun and creative! a lesson in sacrifice made me cry and i loved it so much- a love story that spans across time and space will always tug at my heartstrings) and now i’m going through the analyses which have been super interesting and add so much to the overall story for me personally. i love getting a look inside the creative process, how you came up with the plot, and how you move the story along given the audience’s choices. it’s also really nice to have the scripts, and for some of the audios with more characters it’s been really helpful to read along and keep track of everyone. i think that also might just be because i’m so used to having subtitles when i watch shows these days, kinda works the same with this 😅 one thing i’m wondering about is when you came up with the choices for the polls, do you already have a pretty good idea of how each idea could play out? or is it more of a general idea in your head and after there is a winner is when you start thinking about the details? i’m just really impressed that you can create a series like this with complex lore and be able to create a cohesive storyline while the choice is in the audience’s hands, to a certain extent. i think having this be a CYOA is really cool and definitely engages the audience, but i’m wondering how much more work goes into that as opposed to a regular series also, at what point did you figure out how you wanted the series to end? was it pretty early on or did the conclusion kind of naturally happen as you were developing the plot? i may be getting ahead of myself here because you haven’t finished the analyses for this series 😅 i’m just fascinated by this process, if you couldn’t already tell lol thanks in advance if you read this and/or take the time to answer! 🤍
