I think one of my favorite parts of more direct and intimate audios like this with lots of relative quiet punctuated by short blasts of loudness, is finding ways to fill that silence with little motes of sound. Weather/ambience. Little movements and object interactions. A footstep or two. It's so fun to make the scene feel more lively even when it's supposed to be quiet and intense. 😁💕
