Kratky Bucket Lid (Latest Files Folder)
🕑 Added 2024-06-25 02:09:11 +0000 UTCThis is the DWC and Kratky Bucket lid (and net cups) to allow you to use cheap buckets that don't have lids.
Video Is uploading now.
These fit over 295mm buckets (at 100% scale), scale up or down depending on your bucket size and printer bed size.
At 100% the file fits perfectly on the 256mm Bambu lab bed size.
The Prints have embossing for multicolor printing. (disregard if you don't use multicolor)

Finally subscribed after watching the YouTube channel for a while. Excited to try this print! I have a few 5 gallon buckets so I'll try this as is. I also have some of those 35 lb (15.9kg) cat litter pails from a roommate. I might try to augment this to work with those and a food safe liner.

Hey, the link seems to not function?

Hey mate, Flex the lid backward to attach the hinges Unfortunately due to the layer line orientation there’s no way to strengthen the clips. It’s explained in the video about attaching them.

Hey Hoocho, just wondering are you able to add some more support to the hinge sections on the lid itself? I'm finding that they snap really easily while trying to insert the edge pieces.
Mitchell Tomkins
All buckets have different lid sizes depending on the design unfortunately, I maxed out the bed size so what you printed is the largest it’s possible at the current 256x256 Take it with you to a hardware store and see if you can pick up some cheap buckets that it fits on.

I printed the middle section on my x1c and found it's too small for use on a USA 5 gallon bucket. Anyone know what scale it needs to be to fit and if the printer can still print it?

Hooch, you need to list your 'file names w/date' in the announcements and Patreon release data so we can find them.

how do i go able editing your designs

Yeah I need to measure the bucket and see. Had I known back when I got this printer how much I would actually use it, I would have gotten a bigger one haha.
Mitchell Tomkins
Scale it down and check out what size you’re able to achieve. You should be able to do the calculation without printing. 295mm x (0.80) [if it’s 80%] =236mm bucket. Then have a look what’s available to you. I found the full size one is already too big for most buckets. The problem with splitting is the middle section needs to be rigid to hold the plants
TJ Johnsen
I wonder if there could be a split version for the ones that dont have a hole in the middle. this way it can be printed on any printer full scale? I could slice it I guess but that only benefits me. my print bed is 220-x220 max.
