I'm getting in the habit of including a bit more info with the files... And a STEP version for anyone who wants to tinker!
If you do come up with anything cool flick me an email and we can throw it up in the community folder under your name.
Video linked above... The file is in the latest releases folder and in the future will be moved to the STL folder.
ENJOY!

I am excited to print these... Since I just got my printer I am using the Bambu branded filament. I am happy to move over to a cheaper one. Any Canadians have an ebay link (ebay.ca) they recommend for cheapest PETG?

Just came to find these files... See it is empty... I will dig further based on your comment.... EDIT: Found it thanks to this comment :)

For the seedling propagation device above all at 100% If in doubt. All instructions for printing for models are in the videos for them. (I canβt remember exact perimeters for each, so I put that in for in the video.)

Hello just a quick question do I set all of these prints to 100% infill. And are there any other settings that I need to change on my Bambu X1-Carbon. I have seen someone mention the cooling fan. Do all the things you design use the same settings 100% infill, No support ect. Thanks for the great work have several of your systems working. Just wish the buckets were available in the States.

Hi, it seems like the folder is still empty unless I'm missing something? EDIT: I found it by going to the home thread and navigating the STL collection- the link on this one seems to be broken as of this writing.
Andy
I've never worked with transparent before. Do I use 100% infill for it or does it need to be dropped lower?
Anne Wade
FINALLY found it.

Read the first pinned post with instructions

I hope I can figure it out. I'd hate to cancel my patreon, but I'm retired and on a very limited income.

Hi Anne, i have the same issue. @Hoocho, the Drive folder where the downloads should be is empty.
Anne Wade
Hey Hoocho. I know I'm old (70), but I am not sure what is going on. I have tried to download the files for the seedling propagation system and the Hoocho self watering buckets. All that downloads is an empty folder. I have downloaded some of your stuff in the past so I'm not sure why I'm getting empty folders. I also just want to say that I am so impressed with your efforts in the hydroponic world. You have definitely made it more affordable. Thank you.

Legend, thanks mate!

Just lay it over the filament purge. It will just become part of the first layer. And you can break off the tags at the end. You can turn off the flow calibration in the X1C for less mess.

Hey Mitch, I'm trying to print a couple of these atm but when loading them into Bambu Lab, it seems to think the print is too big and will cross over where the printer does its filament purge on the front of the plate...how are you getting around this? Are you just pausing it at this point and removing the scrap and then letting it get on with it, or is there some other way of orientating that my lack-of-sleep-addled brain is failing to figure out?
Rami
For anyone with a prusa scale to 85% :)
Afakasi
Okay cool I think Iβm just gonna get the bambu a1 with just the single extruder thanks for the information ππΌ
Rami
He bases most of his stuff around the non mini bambu sizes I'd opt for the a1 not a1 mini if so
Daniel Johansson
What filaments are you using?
Afakasi
Iβm looking to buy my first 3d printer .. was looking at the bambu lab mini.. is that too small to print this and other hooch bucket files? Any help is much appreciated π€πΌ

With PETG, I usually print without the cooling fan running. But with this dome, I had to print it with the fan running 10% and it worked great. I was having an issue with the transparent filament bowing and cracking without the fan running.. someone suggested I turn the fan on a little bit and try, and it worked great the second time around :). So, maybe if your fan is running at 100% turn it down or try shutting the fan off. :)

Hi Hooch! Really keen to get started on your impressive RGGS before spring hits. I'm in the process of printing the wick wedges. Mate, do I need to print supports for this? The slicer software is alerting me to. New to 3D printing. Cheers!

Where do we find the square Hooch Bucket with legs in the stl files? The one that fits the recent Hooch Bucket Lid and *Bonus* Self-Watering Planter Base?
Brannon Winn
Just started printing this yesterday evening. Got to the dome part in Overture transparent PETG in a Bambu Labs PS1 and it went perfect up until the height of the print got right in front of the fan on the left side and the layers must not have stuck and it fell apart. My guess is either the fan cooled it down too fast or because the wall is only 1mm it was too flimsy to withstand the strength of the fan. Is there a fan setting I need to do so this doesn't happen again? (I'm new to 3D printing and also new to printing larger items like this).
Mitchell Tomkins
I donβt mess with the settings ever unless Iβm aiming for a specific adjustment (like infill)
Lukas
Ah, missed it the first time I watched it. Ok, just wanted to check because I just started out 3D printing and wasn't sure. Thank you :)

Small hole is explained in the video. For thermometer. The models are in the orientation that I designed them. Flip them to suit bed.
Lukas
Hello, two questions. I made two images to explain it better, original: https://ibb.co/wsPVVJm, flipped: https://ibb.co/yQX1yC9 1) why are all of the models flipped except the dome in the original file? 2) what is the small hole for in one of the seedling tray cups? Best regards Lukas

Are you using a generic PETG profile and trusting the pre-print flow calibration? Prints look gooooood.

If you going to transplant the lettuce plants to NFT, do you rinse the roots? I have for myself less experience with cotton bals. I think the wiking is too much. Now I'm doing an experiment outside with the floatvelves. Unfortunately, due to the heavy rain, 50% drowned because the tube became too full. next year the greenhouse should be there 3.8 x 8.5 m. Than I want to get started with Dutch buckeds, nft and float and drain in UBC tanks. So this winter I will be "Happy 3d printing" for items in the greenhouse. I will upload this to the FB channel every now and then. Maybe completely off topic. but some background. greetings from the Netherlands. Kees (just looked back and saw that I watch you channel since aug 2020 π

PETG is PETG, Iβm not a brand loyalist. Just buy whatβs cheap IMO
Mitchell Tomkins
I use mostly JAYO PETG Itβs the cheapest by far in aus. https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/315398597848?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=705-154756-20017-0&ssspo=hjy6ikzps2g&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=S9gW36B5QES&var=613885597167&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY I buy 10kg at a time to lower cost.

Great video again. I'M going to order the X1C. What kind off fillement do you use, so i can order it? Kind regards Kees
