Also as an insight, the image probably isn't straight because its format is actually a landscape photo, but has the meta-infos that it was taken in a portrait orientation. And because you're on a mac, on which almost all apps acknowledge the meta infos and show you the image in the orientation it was taken, you see it as a portrait. But when you upload it, patreon drops the meta infos and that leaves the image in its basic format. It's your mac that's "deceiving" you that the image is a portrait!
