Six minute comics
🕑 Added 2021-03-01 03:15:59 +0000 UTCThank you for your prompts last Sunday! It was difficult to not look at everybody's comments all week, but I didn't peek! Mélodie helped me out by picking the words, and I gave myself six minute timers for each one. I allowed myself access to the folder of reference pictures I have on my computer so that they wouldn't all end up being chickadees or crows (both of which I'm pretty comfortable drawing from my head).

I think I started trying to shade this one using a marker with about 5 seconds left on the timer.

I think this one would really work with a little red red blood on the fluffball's chin.

I probably didn't need to draw that second junco...
Thanks again everybody! I'd like to try this again!

I love the pheasant one. Reminds me of how different a compliment falls when you compliment something outside recipient's control vs. compliment something recipient worked hard to achieve. Like complimenting eye color vs. how hard they studied for an exam or how much they practiced. It's so different! 🤩 Thanks for this reminder.

Six minutes!? All so clever for such short time frames!

The worried junco looking at the muttering was my favorite part of that sketch! It might not have been needed, but it is very pleasing :D

They have the same parents (who were siblings). So they ARE siblings, but they're not acknowledging it because they're dating.

Yeah, i guess thats the point and i was trying to find some deeper meaning. Or maybe it was some goose fact i didnt know about

These are all so hilaire! Very impressive--but not surprising!

Siblings got me cracking up and I'm not entirely sure why. Geese are wild.
False Knees
Thanks! I think me too. Out of the bunch I'd like to redraw that one the most!
