Sorry, Joshua! I just saw all the air movement behind him, and thought, "aha! Chickadees do it, too!" My hens really do cut the cheese, but never with fanfare; only stealth.

Haha, yes I was going for more like what Irene says here. I love seeing birds (especially the little ones) constantly adjusting their feathers and wanted to try to capture how different it makes them look.
