Sticker ad + Quick comics
🕑 Added 2022-05-06 23:05:03 +0000 UTCI'm excited to finally have some stickers made! I've been meaning to do this for many years. I had a great time taking staged pictures of them all.
And here are a couple quick comics (European bird edition):
This comic takes place in the Plaza de EspaΓ±a in Sevilla, Spain, where I was briefly this past March. One of my favourite discoveries of my trip was all of the urban parakeet populations that are thriving in several Spanish cities. They are bright green and very chatty.
By far my favourite bird sighting of my trip was the hoopoe! Such an improbable-looking creature. I was fortunate to see one on a few different occasions! Though they look like they would be well-suited to fish insects out of trees, they actually feed on the ground.
I seriously love this bird.

Oh, I didn't see the other 2nd and 3rd comic-strips the first time. I live in Seville (next time, call! haha!). Green parakeets are actually a problem here, but politicians and echologists don't find a solution that satisfies everyone. In the meantime, local urbal birds are being seriously affected since parakeets destroy their nests :/ On the bright side, everytime I see a hoopoe I feel like a being from the magic kingdom has crossed my path π I hope you enjoyed your trip a lot!

I'm from a certain city in Germany that's very well known for having wild rose-ringed parakeets! It's funny in the way that you'd show an ornithologist from anywhere in the world a picture of my hometown with the parakeet in it, they'd be like "I know where you live" hahaha
