Drawings for my daughter

I haven't had a lot of time to draw in these last few weeks, but I have done a small card for the first three weeks after the birth of our baby to commemorate her overall disposition in animal form for the previous week.
I coloured this one of a wren in near-darkness as I was on shift looking after her late one night this past week.
I also drew a quick thing for her to gaze upon while she's getting her diaper changed. Apparently high-contrast images are good for the young'uns!
I'm trying to advocate a love of geese from an early age. As a science experiment. I'll let you know how that goes.

Big fan of teaching children to respect and love wildlife (including the cobra chickens) from a young age. Much better than the parents I see chuckling as their darling little ones harass or try to scare Canada geese at the park. With you as a dad, she's gonna be a bird girl from the start!
