Oops. Correction. I forgot a 'What If' detail...
🕑 Added 2024-09-07 03:59:09 +0000 UTCLast night, I realized a tiny but very significant side content detail I missed in the end of August build with all the life stuff that was going on last month. π
In the build there's a new "What If" story called "Objection" which is an alternate ending to End #3: Mimic.
The detail that was omitted:
"To Be Continued."
This was always the plan for this story to continue, but with everything that happened, I didn't have time the time & energy to finish it last month.
I forgot to include the "to be continued" after the end of part 1! Very sorry for the mistake, I'm sure that seemed very abrupt and dissatisfying!

Objection will have 2 endings like a typical 'What If' story.
Minor development update:
Writing has been happening (small progress but any progress is worth celebrating atm!)π₯ and the next CG for Brandon's route (featuring Brandon & Julian) has been assigned to the artist.

Common route update:

After watching that... I realized the beginning of the common route feels a bit bloated (before you reach the boys anyway). Also I may have... over-emphasized the Ethereals' passion for their protocols. π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£
I'll be taking some time to trim down some of that. Not removing any plot details or anything of significance, just trying to speed things along a bit faster.
That'll be some ongoing work over the next couple of months.

Oooh, this looks all very promising! I'm very curious to read Objection Part 2, but no pressure. :D Loved all the Brandon route snippets, too! But for the record, I didn't feel the common route was too bloated when I read it the first time. I think it did a very good job setting up the new world and characters. And I don't know, protocols are important, man. Where would we be without protocols? :p I'm so happy you found some time to write! I hope you're doing well and wish you all the best, Arewar!
