I WOULD LOVE THIS, of course I guess it could get a little messy with custom content but I guess even then cc creators could find a vanilla shoe that resembles the one they created to most that is already in-game and have that appear on the ground or just make it so the model of the custom shoe actually appears! Hope that makes sense lol

Little feedback about the logo, you can make the roof slightly taller and maybe distinguish the chimney more so it looks like a residential house even more. Stupid thought but first thing I thought about when seeing the logo was a greek temple haha

Like the logo but my OCD is bothered that "PARA" isn't centered and "LIVES" is ever so slightly larger than "PARA". But apart from that, wow, Alice has done amazing on the animations! So fluid and lifelike! I did notice a lack of facial expression on Sebastian while ziplining and jumping in the pool, but I imagine that's only a matter of time. And taking off shoes when entering the house, wow! I love that we're already seeing results from the cultural survey. Also, a thought I had when I heard the door shut, I'd love to see animations of parafolk opening and closing doors instead of them magically opening. It's a small touch but it would definitely help sell the immersion. ( PS. thank you for creating one of my most anticipated games of 2021/2022/whenever <3 )

I'd love it if Parafolks who know about the bookcase can automatically route to the room it hides. In Sims 2 Apartment Life, I always have to make my sims trigger the bookcase manually each time I want them to go through it

One thing I think would be cool is the bookcase not being obvious that it was a secret door. Other games when you click on it will say like open door or something of the like. I want to use my secret bookcase door as a bookcase as well. Make the door part that much more exciting

Thank you for making me excited about simulation games again! Haven't felt this way since the sims 2 expansion packs, and I made my own countdown calendar in powerpoint months in advance (Bon Voyage). I would beg my mom to take me to the shop to get it even though she was almost passed out on the sofa with the flu (Seasons), and I would get up at dawn to play the day after I got it and was so tired I fell asleep on the keyboard (Freetime). This is bringing all those memories back and I'm just so grateful you're here<3

The physics looks strange with the zipline. The entire line should hang a little and then Sebastian should move a little up and down while he moves down it and it should also affect the line.

I was wondering, since Paras can climb into and jump off roofs will they also be able to jump off of other elevations will walking? For example, could they hop off a stage/platform or jump from a slightly elevated yard to a lower sidewalk?

I’m so happy that I found this game. It’s incredible that the base game of Paralives will have house rules, zip lines, horses, cars, wonderful Paramakers, lovable characters and real personalities when in the base game of Sims 4, there were no toddlers, pools, cars, good personalities, and/or realistic emotions. All and all, it’s just a bad life simulation game. It’s funny to think that a multi million dollar corporation can only make an extremely bad life simulation game when a game that’s only been in production for a few months can make so many awesome, in depth things just through Patreon. The secret bookcase is everything to me! I love the idea of creating a huge old manor with secret passageways, built by some eccentric rich dude who mysteriously died and left his kids the house. Stop me, I’m building lore already. My one suggestion: while I appreciate how smooth the animation is for the secret door sliding open, what you’ve shown here seems to limit our ability to place items next to it. For me, if I were to put a secret door in my house, I would want to build it on a wall surrounded by similar bookcases (the more, the better - helps the disguise), and have the door push inward. Just a thought! Great work and I can’t wait to see what’s next!

I loved the video!!it looks so fun, and i just loove playing during summetime in life simulation games . the animation when seb is in the secret door looks so good!!! the animation in the bigger trees looks great too, but the more round ones, i think the leaves look like they are making a circle instead of flowing with the wind..i'm not sure i could explain that right lol also i was super excited just by reading "splash screen of the game" and imagining the moment i'm finally able to play it and see that splash screen :D
