would love to see paras sit on the floor with their legs crossed like sims 2 and would love to see some different positions when sitting like crossed legs on couch or one leg up on couch etc i think it would bring alot of personality to the character showing weather they were in a more relaxed mood or sitting very structured for a business interview for example

It would be cool to have a way of sitting that is lying on the sofa to watch TV, and as an achievement it would be very good to build a house with more than X Paradimes

Will there be a way to add cc, builds, etc to your game outside of the Workshop, similar to TS4's Gallery or through 3rd-party sites? Could you add cc through the game files? Apologies if this is a dumb question haha, I'm not too experienced with game development, modding, etc.

Please make occult babies. If you guys do occults that will be so cool! Babies that look different or have fun traits that make them special. Like how in the sims 3 we could have a ghost baby. I miss funny things like that from the sims game. It’s too serious now😭

I love that we get options with sitting. I’m kind of hoping the way a para sits is influenced by their personality or something; would add more depth to the game. I also love that we will get achievements on Steam. I love seeing a new achievement pop up.

I have the habit to sit crossed legged even on the sofa. Also, one of my favourite D&D player (Marisha Ray) likes to sit on a chair in a perching manner, with feet on chair and knees bent. I do like that position Eli is in! As for achievements, I'd like to see ones for failling a certain amount of times. XD Also make sure to include easter egg ones or things that are obscure.

You should also add in the option of the crossing of the legs (I.e duchess cross, leg over leg, ankle cross, etc).

Love that children can sit on the couch like that 😭 would be funny if goofy/childish adult Paras could do the same haha. Then again I haven’t tried this since I was 10 so idk if it’s possible 😅 Can Paras still sit on counters like we saw at some point? I would also love if they could sit on the floor or their bed cross-legged, I often do that and its great for reading because your hands are free! PS: cant wait to unlock an achievement for having my Paras fall asleep inadvertently a 100 times because I didn’t watch their energy bar

thanks you so much for sharing your progress! i have a question about the sitting position (sorry if this is super obvious 😅) - will paras sit down in a random way when you select "sit" on an object? or will you be able to click something like "sit cross legged"? or will the sitting style depend on their mood/personality/etc. (e.g. a tired para will always sit down slumped and resting their chin on their hands)?

Wow, such attention to detail with the sitting positions! Absolutely they add much personality to paras. The adaptive sitting height is looking good too! Can't wait to see the community creations in workshop eventually. ^^

Oooh, I love the different sitting positions! Could there also be an option for sitting cross-legged on both the floor and on seats, especially couches? I tend to automatically sit cross-legged myself because it is one of the most comfortable and stable positions for me. Even if only children/young parafolk could sit cross-legged on both seats and the floor, while older parafolk can be cross-legged on the floor. (I understand that may cause clipping issues between the characters and the seats though.)

I really hope you include some ridiculous/dumb for the memers out there. For example "The cake is a lie" achievement when you make your first cake in minecraft, or getting killed by bees while underwater, or finding a portal to the underworld in your closet. :D

They have it in The Sims 2. If you go on YouTube and search for "The Sims 2: 50 FUN LITTLE DETAILS not in Sims 3 & Sims 4" by "onlyabidoang " you'll see what I meant at 4:46 and at 7:18. It's where I got the idea to suggest it for Paralives. Not to mention I'd LOVE to have all those details for Paralives!

Well, with Steam, you have your saves on your PC too. The Steam Cloud is a useful backup. You can play Steam games off-line.

Question: when you animate the Paras sitting, laying down, or scooting over on any surface with cushion or give (like a couch or bed) will you also animate that surface to be caving in under their weight?

It's kinda symbolic but yay for the Workshop ! It's gonna be such a big part of the community's life :) so it's nice to see it take shape. In the future I'd love to hear more about what your superpowers are in this area (about TOU, for instance, or simply categories/tags). As I'm almost always sitting nervously at the edge of my seat (never as comfortably as Maggie and Marvin !), I expect some additional sitting poses/animations in the Workshop XD How does the Cloud save work if your internet connexion isn't on, or is unstable ?

I love the idea of having bonuses in different categories of the game. and being able to have different poses is really nice also I wish they had some for romantic couples as well as with babies and family poses. I can't wait to be able to play it. I already know that paralives will be my favorite game for a long time. thank you for involving us and sharing with us the development of the game.

Eli is my favourite (as someone else said, I would love to see adults doing that too. maybe not elders though). :D Achievements: I think I had done something like this in the discord before but can't find it (only 103 results for stewby and achievements which is not bad). :P Achievements: shockingly, I would like a perfect para achievement... could always be at every life stage (maybe that would be too much).

I would like to add some ideas too^^: - multitasking as many things as possible - having an extremely productive or extremely lazy day (or streak of days) - mastering a skill (cooking, engineering, gardening, etc) or more! - having bought 500 (and more idk :D) objects/furniture/decoration/etc - moving in together - moving in general - accidentally causing a fire - going broke

Why not both? I think it would be nice to be able to track progress in steam achievements not only for yourself but also to see what friends are doing. But I absolutely agree that I want a lot of these to be integrated into the memory system absolutely!!!

I like some of them but I am also hoping for a memories system... so some of these I would class as memories as opposed to achievements. - one for each type of death - memory. - one for when you have completed all death types - achievement. - for playing through 10 generations - achievement. - getting fired from a job - memory. -getting promoted - memory. - top of their career - achievement. - one para have more than 5 different careers - memory (top of five careers = achievement). - getting a romantic partner - memory. - having more than one partner at once - memory. - one para having more than 10 romantic partners - memory. - having a child - memory. - getting married - memory. - playing a para from birth to death - achievement. just my opinion though. memories would be in-game where as achievements would be in the steam system. :)

Along with sitting I hope you different laying options. Like lying on the couch or floor, on their stomach, back or side. Maybe one Para sitting and another laying with their head on the sitting para's lap. Thank you for the cloud save feature. I love the idea of having my saves everywhere.

I also think a regal upright sitting position, possibly with crossed ankles (like from Princess Diaries) would be another good option for more posh paras. It would be kind of fun to see different sitting styles tied to different traits or moods, kind of like the walking styles in the sims 4.

Really looking forward to achievements!! As a statistics nerd, I love to look at global achievements, so if possible, it would be amazing if certain achievements were blocked if you use certain cheats (just the ones that would make it much easier). That way I can still use the statistics of the global achievements (because they don't mean much if people can easily cheat the achievements). Also - I can't believe the attention to detail you put into it, having multiple ways to sit!! That's so amazing!!!

That's FANTASTIC!!! I've been wondering since day one how custom content creators will be able to share their original creations. It was quite the topic of discussion for the sims and I'd like to know more. Will they be able to sell them? Will it be allowed? If they create their own mesh from scratch, can they profit peacefully from the people willing to pay for their work to be integrated in your amazing game? :)

YAY I was hoping for achievements tbh! I’m not even a completionist but id go for it for this game! You guys are so wonderful and I love everything you do! It’s been so so much fun watching the progress of the game and just being excited every step of the way! Even bugs are fun to watch, as they just confirm progress and I appreciate how transparent you’ve all been this entire time!!!!
