Just had emergency surgery. Almost died due to appendix rupture. Been thinking about living life allot more these last few day’s in the beginning of recovery

I developed an infection after having pneumonia and didn’t know how close I was to dying until my doctors told me. They did my chest x-ray then started looking at me crazy because I was just walking around like normal. I just had a cough and at night I would have sweats and a fever but during the day I was fine. Ended up in the hospital for two weeks. I could have just dropped dead in the middle of work and probably not gotten to say good bye to anyone.
