also btw about the whole "respect your seniors" thing. In Korea,age is a huge thing, the same thing with seniors or sunbae so it kinda makes sense why they are such a stickler for that kind of stuff here even though in America and a lot of non asian countries no one really cares. Traditionally, there is also a thing where you ask their age right away when meeting someone so you know whether you can speak formally or informally.
