Thank you for tuning in! Yeah, it would be interesting to have that kind of pettiness from the dad that would make the situation a little gray or messy. Clearly not what the show was going for but still...interesting to think about. Can't wait to see the next project from FreenBecky.

Ah, "owes him" isn't really what I mean, but, like, it's through his magnanimous actions, etc etc. Again, don't see that as canon to TLP, but it could have been!

Thank you so much for your, as always, well thought out and grounded opinion/reaction! ...Yeah. NO ONE likes Anil's father's "prank". Like, pranks in the past were so much worse, but still!!! Actually, I have a kind of thought about it, too. Ignoring it perhaps was just for drama, but, like, in any other show, the father could have been flexing how easily he could have had Pin removed, and used the "prank" as a way to show Pin how much she "owes" him for "allowing" the relationship. (Note, I don't think this was the writer's intention, and it truly was just drama for drama's sake, but in any other show...!) As it is, I just accept it happens and move on and busy myself with how amazing the rest of the show is. I wish it hadn't happened, but it is what it is, and Anil and Pin still got their happily ever after!!!
