I think I that's a respectable answer! Drawing perspective change a lot between landscape and portrait. So bring uncomfortable with one is perfectly reasonable! I think that expanding out will make for perfect practice!

It was never an issue, but now that you mention it, I never really thought about it deeply before. But I think even if the canvas size is the same, I always feel like I end up drawing more when I do landscapes (background and other stuff). This time, I want to create a scene with sex from behind, with clearly visible private parts and her boobs dropping onto the bed, so I chose to do horizontal because it feels more fit.
