I recently went to China, as my wife is Chinese, and I have to say everything you hear about china is complete western propaganda bs. Every city I visited was cleaner, safer and way more efficient in design then anything I've seen in the west. The tech in their everyday life is also insanely more sophisticated and well adopted.

An election strategy (for jordies) of pointing to Duttons wealth might not be effective unless you can somehow link that, viscerally, to worse outcomes for people. I think Australian's have become far more selfish to the point they won't care about mining billionaires not paying royalties as long as they feel like they're getting richer from an alternative government.
