Thanks for the book rec — I’m finding it really helpful. It’s crazy to see just how much this book describes my upbringing! Is there a particular strategy that has worked or you? Having achieved some breakthroughs recently, the most valuable thing I did was to focus inwards, build self-acceptance, and learn to not GAF what ppl think of you. Seek to impress yourself, not others. Also, I learned that it feels good to be “the adult” in the room, rising above while others act like children. It’s a true source of healthy self esteem as you get better & better at it. I also recommend fleeing to America. Now THAT really helped!
