1) "what are you thinking about right now?"
2) if "i don't know"; "how are you feeling?"
3) if "i don't know"; "how does that make you feel?"
4) "why does it make you feel that way?"
5) "what do you want?"
6) "how are you going to do that?"
7) if "i don't know"; "would you like help?"

i would guess it's been at least a month since that incident, if not longer. my wife actually had a procedure where they needed to make an incision from her ear to the corner of her mouth when she was younger, and i asked her about the aftercare. she had stitches in for about 2-3 months after, so i can assume izzi would need them in for longer. if you manage to harm yourself or attempt in a Facility, you're placed on watch/lockdown for usually... about 2 weeks, longer if you're not on your best behavior. between making sure her stitches were closing properly and uninfected and that, i figured she would only be seeing one of her regulars again after a bare minimum of a month or so.

i'm not sure how to put this, but it's amazing how well you can write..not being able to convey things? in a way that actually makes sense. maybe it's because it's how i talk, pausing and doubling back and trying to untangle sentences, but i really appreciate how you write so that people can understand the ways that it's hard to understand. a bit cathartic to see a therapist actually trying to work with that, too. also, is this soon after she got the scar across her mouth?
