🕑 Added 2020-12-10 02:15:42 +0000 UTChi. i forgot about the q&a, but i remembered now. i was having a hard time thinking of a theme for this one.
i think i'll decide to go with characters' opinions about other characters for this month.
you can ask what i think a character would think of another character that they do or don't know in the canon itself.
since it isn't really specified how exactly a character would know of another character in the canon, if they don't actually know each other canonically, you can also add circumstances for how the character would know them that might affect their opinion.
this could be something like a character like sugar knowing about keshet by meeting her versus hearing about her through outis only, or kind of breaking the meta and having an opinion based on reading the comics that include that character, etc. if not specified i'll just do whatever feels natural.
i will be answering questions on the 20th.
i'm just gonna copy and paste the parts that are still relevant from the last one -- this is just fluff in case you don't understand how the q&a's can work.
this is going to be the post where i answer questions. you can post them here early and i will answer them on the 20th, or you can wait.
you can also send them to me privately or like, send an ask or e-mail with a throwaway account if you want it anonymous, i can post it here as a comment.
you can ask friends for questions and post them for them if you think they'd be interested or whatever, i'm not gonna be super strict about it.
i will be editing this post on the 20th, so you will get an extra notification when the answering is actually happening.
chances are the majority of these will be text answers, but i might respond with drawings.
i will be labeling the nature of answers in brackets in any response with some simple tags to test it out:
-"soft canon" means it may or may not be canon. it can be listed as canon, but if anything in the hard canon contradicts it, it's not canon. it's like, recessive gene canon.
-"hard canon" means it's definitely always established canon unless retconned.
-"personal" will mean it's my opinion/interpretation rather than actual canon (usually meant to facilitate thought about the text without changing it, if that makes sense).
-"soft pass" will mean i don't want to answer the question but will explain why.
-"hard pass" will mean i don't want to answer the question, period!
-and "idiot sandwich" is going to mean i'm saying something that is very likely to cause a contradiction in canon because of an internal disagreement.
these tags don't have to mean anything to you, but i don't want to confuse people.
you can also suggest future themes for Q+A sessions or ask for clarification in the comments here and i will answer those before the 20th. see you then.

[soft canon] honestly? sugar doesn't have many friends because of depression isolation (among other things), and consequently doesn't meet many of lola's friends more than in passing or briefly, either. i think sugar's opinion of lola's friends is that they probably dislike her and she is embarrassed to talk to them, and their opinion of her is that she is kind of unfriendly or disinterested. on the plus side, sugar's friends (largely coworkers) probably have met lola just from proximity like being picked up from work or during Job Events where you bring your partner, and like her a lot. i think lola would be ambivalent about them, as sugar is fairly ambivalent about them herself.

this is an interesting one. diesel is neutral, which is, i don't want to say the best you can ask for from him, but is usually the most you can expect. he finds felix non-threatening, but not necessarily dependable as a protector's favorite kind of person would be. malcolm kind of lowkey despises felix for not particularly ever being interested in being their friend specifically, despite knowing about them? it's a strange kind of envy that an alter can project onto friends and partners, and one that malcolm is known for as an almost-cohost. LG surprisingly is also not particularly a fan of felix. felix is a little too emotionally restrained at all times, and i think when his histrionic side comes out, it's just ever-so-slightly misaligned with how LG emotes. she doesn't necessarily dislike him, but has probably had a few experiences where she has tried to extend trust and be playful and it's failed and become intensely awkward, and now felix just makes her nervous. i could see her being really good friends with felix with some moderation from izzi at first, but it's just not there in the current present tense. i think quinn is mostly ambivalent to felix. the friendship is obviously fine, but quinn is a fairly emotionless alter who cares little about the outside world in general. i didn't think izzi's system would have a largely negative opinion of him but... ??? lmfao, i guess the chips fall where they do

Hi, maybe this has been answered before but I’ve always wondered about Sugar and Lola’s friends....do they ever meet, what their opinions are of each other once they do lol.
