Kuroinu Rebellion: Next Update 'Possible" Delay
🕑 Added 2024-10-04 06:45:04 +0000 UTCI haven't touched on talking about Kuroinu rebellion in a very very very long time almost all year.
If you haven't been keeping tags this year has been absolutely Awful.
First we had the Tax issue at the Beggining of the Year and while we smashed it out of the Park this meant a absolute Mountain of Commissions needing to get done that I only finally Finished around June.
Then I had my Off and On Health Issues steming back for 10+ Years and only RECENTLY as in the past few months have I've been able to get Surgery done to fix these issues, all the while multiple doctors were stringing me along and racking up one hell of a medical bill Im still ATTEMPTING to pay off
Then had car issues which while I was able to get fixed it racked up one heck of a Credit card debt which again still attempting to pay off slowly.
Combine this with several individuals attempting to Sabatoge the Game both in Game Dev itself and just Casual slander has taken a strain on me mentally. I need to see a Psychitrist as Im pretty sure I got both Depression and ADHD. And this is why I havent Taken on anyone else to assist in the Project because of People like this.
I was only able to pick up Development until Recently at the End of July and even then As ya saw I had several Surgeries done in the mean time.
So we're comming up to the Annual "Major Update" I always tried to do each year but this maybe the First Year where I'll have to dely stuff just to get it done. With both my Mental and Health isssues its been a Challenge to sit down and actually work on the game even more so with this next update.
What was supposed to be this update?: The Update was supposed to Finally Finish up all the Game Stuff meaning Players would get to Celestines Fortress and Fight Vult and Kill Kuro and get Happy Ending. Allowing Next year to be Squarly focused on Finishing every single H Scene and finally wrapping the Game up
HOWEVER I hit a snag as Earlier this year I asked "Should I make Prim and Chloe's Sidequest part of the Main Quest" with a Overwhelming number saying "Yes" and I get it, Im trying to wrap up Kuroinu and really only work on it off and on while I do my main stuff so it'd be unfair to leave Chloe and Prim out so I had to go back and Add in Chloe and Prims Quests combind Togeather and make it part of the Main Story.
And then....Everything that happened above happened...and look where we are now.
So What is going to be the Update?: Im going to be 100% Blunt with everyone...This is gonna be the WORST Update for Kuroinu Rebellion ever.
I do not like going back I like moving Forward, This update however Pulls me all the way back towards the Beginning of the Game just to Adjust what was supposed to be a Side quest into a Main Quest. Added ontop my Issues im having at the moment and Progress has been PAINFULLY slow
And if you've been on my Discord ya know The Program has crashed multiple times throughout this years development setting things back, and Loosing internet meaning I couldnt save the Project.
Ok but heres what the Update will cover:
The Update adds a Previous Side Quest Content into full Main Quest Content.
Players CAN (You do not have to but it MAY lead to some issues game wise) Start this content back to when Alicia and Prim Join the Party.
Players will Plea to a Ritch Nobleman Johanthan (John) Mandevil and the Mordello Brothers Conti and Ponti in order to get Aid to Fight Vult only to uncover the Sinsiter Corruption within the Nobility
Players will Navigate the Hedonistic Mansion of Mandevil Manor in order to Track down the Traitors as well as Uncover Dark Secrets and Tramatic Pasts
The Update will also wrap up the "In Progress" Adamantoist Side Quest where Players can Defeat a Optional Boss called "The Adamantoist" A Difficult Boss boasting Imprentrable defenses, Defeating him Will Earn the Player a Unique Armor Set or Accessor of the Players Choosing.
So why the Possible Delay? Like I said Progress has been PAINFULLY Slow, Thanks to Moonblack a Long time Friend who has been assisting in Development sense the Early days of Rebellion has Assisted in Designing the Mandevil Mansion Dungeon for Players to Explore. As of Right now at the time of Typing this I have only NOW Finished the Introduction cutscene into entering Mandevil Manor including all the Dialouge, Dialouge Options, Affinity points ect And only now am I getting to filling out the Mansion floors of both Furnature, Interactable Objects, and Parts of the Overarching Puzzle of the Area.
I still need to add the 2 Boss fights in the Mansion along side the Cutscenes before and after of fighting Conti Ponti and John and progressing the Game to where they head towards the Elf Ruins and Continue onwards.
Thats alot to Do and Program in and I am Crunching As is RN Even with my Issues. Given how much that needs to be done I HOPE everyone Understands why AT THE MOST the Game will be Delayed until the Tail End of November. I will work around as much as I can to get this game out ontime but just letting everyone know, No Promises.
I hope you guys understand whats up and I Really Appreciate everyones support during this ABSOLUTELY ROUGH year. Hopefully next year I can finally Finish the Game Portion of Rebellion so now everyone has a Beginning and End to the Story. Thank you everyone for sticking by me for this long, I SWEAR Im going to get this damn project finished I swore I'd never drop this project like so many others do and I swear I want to give everyone a Satisfying end to this Project despite over the years its lost Relevancy.
Side note: If anyone has anything that can Help Naturally with ADHD and Depression without having to spend 10k+$ on Psycitrist vists (THANKS AMERICAN HEALTH CARE FOR NOT TAKING MENTAL ILLNESS SERIOUSLY!?) I would appreciate it, I want to kick this as its impacting Rebellion in the Worst ways and am Scared on how this will Impact Future Projects.

I can't understand entirely what your going through Lionheart. A decade in the making...I'm humbled by your dedication to KR. This actually reminds of one quote I was taught in High School: "It's not about the triumph but the struggle." Life has thrown almost pretty much everything at you at this point Lionheart. Medical Issues, Car Issues, Burnout, Sabotage...I can go on but you get the point. In spite of all that, you still keep going. You want to finish what you started even though it's taken so much longer then you, likely, initially thought. Your dedication and want for a better ending of a world that got bad ended and bad ended hard, again, is humbling and inspiring. In anything in life, as you well know, your going to struggle, there are going to be set backs and lost steps but I'll tell you this too: There is a light at the end of this long ass tunnel. The end is just beyond the far horizon The distant stars that had been frustratingly out of reach are now close enough to almost hold in your hands. Regardless of this being your "Worst Update", it's still something your giving us despite all the turmoil your going through. Your almost there Lionheart... Now repeat it after me. You. Are. Al...Most. There. ONCE MORE! YOU! ARE! AL...MOST! THERE! This Game CAN and WILL be finished then you can go on to other things you love and enjoy. First and foremost, of course, is your physical and mental health. DON'T EVER force yourself to work until you KNOW you can handle the strain. Because once this is all over? Once you complete this Game and prove all those Saboteurs and all those tearing you down wrong and fucking stick it to them oh so gloriously? Your long deserved victory WILL taste sweet. Because all your struggle, everything you've been through, will be proven to not have been for nothing. That despite it all, YOU DID IT! Don't give into those that would only tear you down Lionheart. Remember what I was once told you...Fuck them! Just a little more Lionheart...you can do it. I, and everyone of your fans, are HERE for you. We SUPPORT you. We have FAITH in you. I just...I wish there was something MORE that can be done for you...to help you... :( Regardless though, we're here... :)

I agree. You can still do it. The Kuroinu Rebellion project will be a success. You will finish this Kuroinu Rebellion to inspire us all to save our lady friends. We the Kuroinu Rebels shall have our glorious victory no matter the cost.

Look Lionheart, I understand it's very frustrating to delay your favorite and passionate project due to life being unfair. But please just know that we the fans will always be there to support and help you get the Kuroinu Rebellion done well no matter what the odds are. We the Kuroinu Rebels shall prevail in the end and save our lovely lady friends!!!

Thanks for the update and know that everyone here understands and will continue to support you regardless. Not just for Kuroinu Rebellion but also your own health. I think this year has been tough for all of us concerning what has been going around lately around the world and it has impacted many of us in bad ways. But the best thing we can do is keep moving forward, even if it means taking a step back or two thanks to bumps in the road. And if I may be honest, I had depression (still do actually) before but psychologists and therapists never helped. Catholic Church did. I'm not saying it as a suggestion for you but it certainly is an option to take outside of psych visits that cost thousands of dollars.
