Regarding TU9 and TU10:
First of all, I know that TU10 is out. However as I always say - until the software is updated, it's out of my hands - so I can't do anything yet to update to TU10.
I wanted to get this out anyway, while I know it's playing well and as soon as it was ready for you all.
Importantly, I have heard that TU10 is NOT crashing mods, however it sounds as though the entirety of the mod isn't engaging so I would not recommend doing this for now.

What's New in V17:
V17 sees a really nice advancement in a number of areas. The mod is playing so nicely now, with a real sense of differentiation, balance and fluidity.
- World Class players feel much more fluid to use. They are more responsive than before, take better touches and a more reliable from a technical perspective.
- You will find the CPU plays more creatively than on previous versions, especially compared to V16 and V16.1.
- There's been a significant amount of work put in to create a more tangible and noticeable impact on players off ball abilities based on their stats.
This results in matches that feel different - with you being able to properly create space against lower rated opposition, even within your own league. You will also feel the difference when going up against the very best off ball teams now.
- There has been a change in the way fouls are called. You will find more fouls called for mindlessly pressing, especially with tackles from behind.
This is a bit of a work in progress as it's an extremely tricky area, but you will find you have to think more about your body positioning, timing and even just how close you get when defending. It adds a really nice, realistic element to the game. If you find any 'quirks' there is a 'vanilla ref' option to add on.
Also, if you're enjoying the fouls, but getting too many cards, try lowering the referee strictness in game to 'lenient' also, as apparently this results in less cards, but keeps the fouls.
- Goalkeepers will be behave more naturally. You will see a lot less 'super human' saves and predictable outcomes now.
- Various small adjustments to players traits and abilities. You will find some more standout Player ID.
NOTE:
I've toned down the passing error system in V17 compared to V16 as I know it's not suited to everyone - plus it was resulting in some cases of the CPU not being as creative in their attacking approach. For those who love it, it's still available as an option in the 'Full Gameplay Package'.
NOTE 2 (Regarding 'Slow' version):
I feel like I have to add, that those of you who jump straight to the 'Slow' version, I really think you're missing out on so many features of the mod - including animations. The regular version plays nowhere near as fast as you would think - everything has been slowed down from the default game!
I recommend the slow version LAST out of everything as I just don't think it delivers the necessary intensity for the features to come through. I would say it feels the most clunky also. If you're a person who goes straight there and doesn't try the others, I really think you're missing out on a lot of what the mod offers. Medium seems to play really nicely, and still feels nice, but the slow version isn't as good in my opinion. Remember speed and behaviour are linked!

Hi Anth, thanks for your dedicated work on the gameplay. I really enjoyed V16 TOUCH Version. Loved the loose ball feeling. Is there a similar variant in V17? Is it V17 standard + Loose touch Option?

Tried it for a few games, I really like the update! Midfield battle is way denser now, passing just feels much better. Formation runs felt more natural. Really enhances my FUMA experience, it's crazy. Awesome!

Hey Ray. Sure, I've just added it into the Full Package as an option! Just re-download and you'll see it. I've also added in the V16 positioning (with only the back 5 fix added with it) as an option as well. I know it's a little confusing, but if you wanted to, you create yourself an 'updated' V16 by placing the following V17 mods in this order: 4. V17 standard version 3. Pass error system Option 2. Loose touch Option 1. Positioning alternative 2 Hope this helps!

Hi Anth, I was wondering if it's possible could you release an option for your GK changes that you made for new version so I could use with V16? I've tried V17 and it's great and I love the GK changes but V16 is absolutely perfect for me and I'm going to stick with that for a while.

AnthJames on fire! Keep up the good work! Your mod really change the overall gameplay, most of the quirky vanilla gameplay that made me hate ea fc is technically gone. Now I'm addicted to the game. I hope the TU10 mod release comes soon.
