Also, magic erasers for the win to remove those stains on the wall. They work wonders on matte paint. For attachment, I do like your decorative screw caps, but you should consider a pocket hole jig. It gives you a sturdy yet invisible joint.

Love this! For the logo, you could also just paint the acrylic with the same pink paint in a circle (or other shape) behind the logo. That would keep the color scheme precisely, yet insure contrast in any environment.
